Thank you, Matt. That tale haunts me, too. Thanks for listening and supporting Corvairs and Horny Toads.

A sad tale well-told, Lucinda. The poetic justice of a girl's vengeance, imbued with both her and her father's karma, brought on by their actions. Reminds me of Sartre's play, No Exit.

Thank you, Jeanine. What an interesting comparison you make. The notion of Exits or No Exits for the unfortunate characters in Mona Lisa is true--trapped, physically or psychologically.

It’s amazing how you pull us right into this story. As soon as those curtains are pulled back to let in the sunlight… it’s a horrifying narrative, definitely lingering. But it’s also imbued with kindness and humanity. It’s beautifully done.

wow, what a tale...so unexpected and sooo sad! "Mona Lisa" was one of my father's favorite songs and whenever I hear Nat King Cole, my thoughts go back to him, so thanks for the memories.

You're welcome, Hal. It is a beautiful song, haunting and sad like LaDawn Tate. Thanks for taking the ride with me.
