Loved your last podcast. And regarding this post, yes, the world is a fragile place but we don't treat it as such. I didn't know otters ate sea urchins. I suppose what the heat wave took care of in diminishing their food source, humans' continued desire for urchins should take care of the remaining few percent of those cute and pesky otters. It's heartbreaking to know so many species are dying. I believe we're now in what is called The Sixth Extinction. The Chixculub Asteroid Event that took out the dinosaurs was the fifth. If we're doing songs, here's an appropriate one: "When will we ever learn? When will we evvvver learn?"

Jeanine, I missed this comment (sometimes i flounder around on Substack, learning how to navigate) but thank you for this. I appreciate the song, the question nags and frustration sometimes makes me want to throw in the towel--but how can I? How can we?

Mercy, Mercy Me. Yes we have to keep our hands to the plow. We can do better and if we don’t Mother Nature’s goin to show us a thing or two. We are already starting to see a thing sure don’t want to see or two. Thank you for sharing and giving a behind the scenes look at where your dreams, visions and stories are grounded. Walking on this road with all these inspirational poets/artists the words, the lines, the melodies soak up into the fabric of our being and find their home in our hearts.

Thank you for the Otter News. I’ll be looking for the next niblet of learning about our earth family. Let’s keep our minds and hearts focused on improving life with Mother Earth. All we are saying is

Give Peace a Chance!
